NYU Fall 2020 Transfer

can someone help me out? i received All A’s this spring semester and I would like to submit them to NYU. If i do this, will it delay my decision? Anyone know?

@newtransfer123 thank you, pretty cool that I have one too

CAS and there is an email on my Zoom profile page. i dont know if this means anything.

Submitting your spring semester won’t actually hurt you but be in your advantage if you received all A’s. As to delaying I’m not sure, either way everything is delay but I’m pretty sure they are trying to fill the space of people declining so they have to review some “potential” individuals again, this a guess of course but I say you should submit them.

@albright2855 i applied for cs at Tandon, and i didn’t get an email fro nyu

hey guys. do you guys think that those who didn’t get a decision yet are gonna get rejected? or do we still have an equal chance like everyone else? feel like they’re running out of spots

@freshman35 a lot of people are denying their admissions offers so I actually think that this year people have more chance of acceptance than all the previous years. It obviously does not mean that everyone will get accepted but I THINK that the acceptance rate of this year is “a little bit” higher. But yea these are just some thoughts. I could be wrong so take my words with a grain of salt. ?

Hi y’all. I’m new. I’ve been stalking this thread for the longest. I haven’t gotten a decision either. I’ve applied back in January. My friend who goes to the same school was accepted back in April-- her last name starts with a B, mine with a T. And she applied near deadline I believe, so maybe they are reviewing in order of late to early submissions. nyu is a hot mess tbh

@newtransfer123 Same! What major are you planning on pursuing?

Do you guys think some will get their decisions tomorrow? or only on Friday?

@larosa2 Praying on some decisions tomorrow. I have a theory that they are gonna send decisions in bulk tomorrow to force people to respond quickly. To back this up, since people are constantly turning down their decisions and they need to fill up seats, they have continually made the time slot for accepting their offer shorter and shorter. I’m sure that they know June 1st is a big day to make decisions for colleges so I feel like they’ll use that to their advantage to post tons of decisions to force students to respond asap. Also, taking an entire week off to not post decisions is a bit odd especially this late in the game, so I assume they stockpiled on decisions this past week.

@nycstudent411 i don’t believe this to be true as i submitted mine three hours prior to the deadline on april 1

@parsonbrown I really hope that this is going to happen! Lets hope for the best ???

Hey guys! Stern applicant here who’s been lurking for months. I’m getting pretty anxious now that its already June 1st and I haven’t received a decision. I’ve been staking the thread and realized that 2 week ago, a big wave of Stern acceptances was released and this past week, a few more were accepted. Does that mean the people who are still waiting are out of luck? It’s pretty late in the year already and I’m stressing out. Does us not getting a decision by now a bad sign, or does it not mean anything?

Is it possible that people were accepted even when their portal showed no changes whatsoever?

No admission updates so far?

@mbrito2019 It’s too early. I think it was mentioned that decisions come out at 4:00 pm EST.

@KhalilA Why are you waiting for Tandon’s decision? You already got in USC!
I’d have accepted their offer of admission if I got in, but hey rejected me lol
If you are accepted to USC, that means you have way better stats than I have. You’ll be accepted cuz I got in.

Anyone any changes yet?

@soyyaaa0312 But USC wasn’t my first choice. USC seems like a great but PRICEY school, and tbh I’d rather live in New York than LA.

But I’m still curious to find out whether I’ll get accepted or not. Because believe it or not, I got rejected from University of San Francisco, but accepted at USC LMAOOO
