NYU Fall 2020 Transfer

Tisch applicants - this week is our week! Hopefully we’ll get some positive news.
My zoom changed from “member” to “member - student” last week btw. It could mean nothing idk. My checklist disappeared in the beginning of April. But other than that I unfortunately haven’t had any drastic changes.

Does anyone know if they’ll only be giving decision on Friday?

Are there any other CAS applicants who haven’t heard back yet? I’m not really expecting an acceptance at this point which I’m cool with but I feel like I should have at least gotten a rejection by now!

Isn’t it strange that NYU hasn’t released any rejections yet? They usually do!

@Sampats @corinnaolson I am neural science CAS haven’t heard back yet

Also not expecting an acceptance at this point

It’s all so strange. None of the CAS Econ majors have heard back from what I have heard and seen. At this point all we can do is hope for the best, we can’t change what we wrote on our applications and we can’t influence the decisions the admissions officers make. We can just try to be positive and just hope that that everything works out for the best. At the end of the day we’ll all end up where we’re suppose to be.

I’m CAS Econ and haven’t heard back!

Which CAS major heard back? only CS?

Neural science CAS and also haven’t heard back.

Global public health CAS and haven’t heard back either…theres no way these are all gonna be rejections lmao

CAs Econ

cs cas applicant, haven’t heard back yet. My checklist disappeared a week ago, and it re-appears today. I’m so confused, anyone had the same situation?

For Econ Majors, are you applying for sophomore or junior status?

junior here! @Yankeefan20

It’s definitely more difficult to fit all of the required courses for Econ into your schedule if you’re accepted and enroll at NYU.

Which Econ and Math ones have you completed so far?

Has anyone heard anything about when Stern will release decisions?

@Sampats Maybe people haven’t posted about their rejections yet? There might be some…

for those of who have sent emails to them, how long did it for them to get back to you? I sent an email on Friday and they haven’t responded yet.

1 to 2 business days.

I received an email saying I need to have my high school transcript in by tomorrow or my application is cancelled. I ordered it a few weeks ago to be sent but its been delayed due to everything going on right now. I think I should be okay and I just emailed them describing my situation but what do you guys think?

@madisonmcg submit an unofficial high school transcript instead (a screenshot of your grades). You can email them, however, given the current situation and the fact that many applicants likely submitted their high school transcripts very early into the admissions process and how late it is right now, I could see their patience running thin.
