@westvillagelover they do: “Spring 2020 courses only: Given COVID-19-related disruptions, the following exceptions will be made to NYU policy:
Courses taken on a Pass/Fail basis (or for which other non-A-F grades were awarded as exceptions to standard academic policy) can be transferred for credit towards the NYU degree, provided that there is a transcript notation or a letter from the institution confirming that the Pass or other non-A-F grade is equivalent to a C-minus or higher; the minimum A-F grade for transfer eligibility is C-minus.” (https://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/how-to-apply/transfer-applicants/transfer-credits.html)
Same here. I applied in early March. Nothing yet.
One way to test that hypothesis is to check threads from previous years, count the number of reported acceptances and reported rejections, and then compare the result with the transfer acceptance rate in NYU’s CDS.
@parsonbrown @saderobinsonacts good luck to you as well, hope to meet you in a writer’s room!
@CrazyBrian I think it’s also important to keep in mind that some schools in NYU haven’t released decisions at all (Tisch film here, I don’t think Tisch released any exterior transfer decisions yet), so if you or someone wants to test a hypothesis, probably best to keep it confined to schools that have released multiple waves of decisions. ?
I have a feeling external applicants will begin receiving decisions this Friday im so excited
@westvillagelover no way!! also thanks
Does anyone know what “course in progress” means for when they look at our courses? I looked at my transcript and some of my classes correlate to classes at nyu but some just have the in progress message
@luckycat21 in progress just means that you are currently taking it
does anyone have access to their NYU Classes portal? I have not received a decision yet and I can see it (calendar, profile, etc)
I think that NYU classes portal is allowed to every applicant.
@avb12345 Yeah, I don’t think that is any indication of a decision. I can see it as well!
Am I the only one who is getting nervous as we’re getting closer to Friday? (Tisch)
Has anyone here applied to Gallatin? I’m hoping my decision comes in this week.
I’m hella nervous for Friday as well lol I just wanna know already
@TooMuchLit I applied to Gallatin and am still waiting to hear back
Awesome. Let me know how it goes. I’m feeling pretty confident, but I’d like to know for sure ASAP.
@toomuchlit will do. When did you apply? I know there are a few people on here who have been admitted already
My application was completed on March first.
I’m sooooo nervous! I applied to Tisch like right at the due date march 31st
