Stern applicant…No change. Does anyone know the real acceptance rate for Stern External Transfers? The # floating around the internet seems to be 2% but there’s no real evidence to back that up. I’m reading that its probably on par with incoming freshman rates, but does anyone know? (I heard some years they don’t even take externals - how can that be true??) Someone please clarify. I know they prioritize internals but still hoping that I at least have a chance to get in. 3.904 GPA, excellent rec, great essays, greats ECs, junior year

Hi guys, I just get 3 midterm grades from the 5 courses I choose this term. Maybe I will get other grades later this week but there is no exact time. Do you think I should upload these 3 grades first, or wait to get all grades and upload together?

I guess the best thing to do would be to wait. I saw in the last year’s thread that students were getting decisions all the way until the end of the month…
Hey guys my portal updated again like thirty minutes ago. When I click on financial aid links I can now see the total cost breakdown including fall and spring. Before I could just see spring and it only listed tuition and books now I see housing, fees, tuition etc.
mine did the same thing but still no transfer credit report. I’m cas philosophy what are you?

Has anyone from steinhardt seen any proto changes?
I got off the phone with admissions earlier (super nice guy), he told me that decisions should be in before June for externals. Also, he chuckled when I mentioned the Zoom status changes on my account, saying that he hadn’t heard that one yet and there is no correlation between the changes and decisions.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think so far any application that is performance, portfolio or audition-based has not received any updates? or at least no one on the group has mentioned. I’ve applied for music business, and I haven’t seen any other applicants so far.
@raemondawes my D is Steinhardt vocal performance and has seen updates to her financial aid portal.

I’ve been reading the comments for a while now, but I’m starting to get a little worried with everyone’s “housing, transfer credit, financial aid, etc.” boxes starting to appear in their portals. I am a current sophomore in community college looking to transfer with 57 credits and a 3.905 GPA, excellent letters of rec, essays, and a college report to the CAS Biology. However, I have seen no changes to my portal except the checklist disappearing a while ago. Is anyone else stressing over this?
