Hey everyone! I’ve seen a few NYU transfer threads from previous years and I didn’t see one for Fall 2024 transfer applicants. I thought making this would be helpful. This thread is for anyone applying to transfer to any of NYU’s undergraduate programs.

I am applying as an external transfer to Gallatin. I submitted my application on March 1st and am hoping to hear back soon! Is the earliest we could hear back technically this upcoming Monday? Does anyone know when we should expect to hear?

Also applied to Gallatin! I think we should hear back late April early May. Only a few more weeks…

Aghhh I’m sure it’ll be late April/early May but I’m holding out hope for finding out today. I’m so impatient!!! I wish I knew if anyone had heard back yet…

I also applied to Gallatin! This is my second time applying to NYU and I really want to get in…
I’m currently a sophomore in a small liberal arts college with GPA 3.7.
some EC: committee member in the self government association of my current college, a research published (but not related to the major I proposed… I switched my major), and a paper accepted at an academic conference (related to my current major).
btw I applied to transfer last year and was rejected on Jun. 6th.

What was your gpa last year when you applied? Why do you think you got rejected?

I thought this would be helpful! I got my decision last year on Jun. 6th. Also my friend who was accepted at Gallatin last year got his decision on May.2nd.

I think we may have to wait all the way to May :frowning: Maybe really late April we could get a decision.

Hey everyone, just wanted to hop on here and share that I was able to see my cost of attendance breakdown today and it wasn’t there yesterday. I don’t know if this means anything but I think it’s a good sign that decisions might be coming out soon?
