nyu financial aid package

<p>I recently got my NYU acceptance and was jumping for joy
however my financial aid package on albert shows that i only got 3k in work study and the rest in loans :frowning: i am devastated by this outcome and cannot attend</p>

<p>My household has 4 people (my mom, dad, older sister, and me)
My dads income is about 150k but with 2 kids going to college and medical issues going on with my mom, is there a chance NYU would give me some aid?</p>

<p>i understand nyu doesnt meet full need but should i appeal?</p>

<p>My son was in your situation last year. Unfortunately colleges think that $150k is enough to live on and pay 60k/year for school. We tried calling and appealing. It didn’t work. Hopefully you got into some other schools that gave you some money. NYU is pretty ruthless when it comes to financial aid.</p>
