NYU Full Scholarship?

Does NYU give out full scholarships?? If you were given a full scholarship please comment!! Also I want to know how much people have gotten from NYU in general too!!

To my knowledge, NYU does not give full-ride scholarships.
Here is a list of NYU scholarships:

It looks like the ARCH scholarship may be the closest thing NYU has, but it’s not given for necessarily academic reasons.

There are also scholarships to help meet need - and by meet need, I mean like… meet less than 50% of need. If you want to know how NYU financial aid works, check out my post which describes NYU FA:

You mentioned you are interested in Stern. Stern has the John Paulson Scholarship, which is very generous, prestigious and hard to get within the school - heard of two Stern admits getting it this past year. It is based on merit and financial need. See this link:

Also, in NYU2013’s link to NYU Scholarships, I want to call attention to the Dr. MLK Jr. Scholarship, $25,000/ year for 4 years if a minimum 3.5 GPA is maintained. It is a nice scholarship which accepts very academically strong and socially/ politically active students with leadership roles. Students have opportunities to travel domestically and internationally (for a minimal fee) to do community service and they are paid a stipend from NYU the summer between freshman year and sophomore year to work at an approved internship. This is a nice perk (esp. if you do not have to use a big chunk of the stipend for housing expenses, that is, travel to internship from parent’s home). This is especially nice since it is rather difficult to find even unpaid and volunteer positions that are relevant to your own field during this summer when you do not have as much to offer as upperclassmen and others with more experience. Very good networking opportunities and peer stimulation (around 20-30 per year accepted and attending NYU across the various schools of NYU). This scholarship is based entirely on merit.

thanks guys so much. yea im really interested in stern. my parents said if i get in they would not want me to miss out and would do the best they can finacially. but ya know i really would not want the burden on them
