NYU Gallatin average SAT

I’m applying to Gallatin and was wondering if anyone knew the average SAT?

I think they’re pretty much the same as the general NYU average SAT scores (which, according to college board, are 620-710 for CR and writing, and 620-720 for math–I don’t know how recent those are though). Personally, I got into Gallatin ED with a 2100 (1440 without writing), and I considered my score to be slightly above average, if that helps at all. They’ll mostly look at your essays though. Good luck!

Gallatin kids actually have very high stats. All the kids who posted in the facebook group had mid 1400s and up. My friend was rejected with a 1460 I think.

But yeah it’s also heavily essay-based.

ughhhh i have a 1910 i feel so ****eddddddd

i had a 1950 and i got in. dont worry. :)

but take the ACT too. i got a 32 on it…which is like a 2150 on the SAT

Do they look at SAT Writing?

LOL Carina that did not help. Haha you actually got a 33 superscore, stop downplaying yourself! Which is at least a 2250 (0_0 shiznits)

No NYU, like most east-coast schools, doesn’t look at writing.

I was reading on the admissions website and it said that no test scores are needed, but if you score highly and would like to send the scores in you can. Is it true that SAT scores are not needed?
