Hello!

I’m an undergraduate student at a private university in Texas. I am going to apply to graduate schools in the fall and I want to know more about admissions specifically for NYU (graduating may 2012). Time goes by fast so I want to be ready! here it goes:

My goal is to be accepted into the Educational Leadership, Politics and Advocacy (ELPA-MA) - Master of Arts Program. I am majoring in bilingual education with a minor in philosophy. 3.6 overall gpa/3.8 major gpa
I have been president of 2 organizations at my school and I have worked in the U.S attorneys office for almost 2 years now. I know a lot of other graduate programs don’t accept students right after getting their bachelors, but I have not read any requirement for teaching/job experience before applying to the program. (please correct me if I’m wrong)I’m a first generation college student and will be the first person in my family to attend graduate school so I need as much advice from other sources as I can get. Thank you!
