I am currently at the University of Texas at Austin. I am majoring in Political Science. I have a 2.91 GPA, but after this semester, I should have around anywhere from a 3.20-3.30 GPA. (I transferred into UT in 2015. My GPA at the another UT institution was 3.55.) With this being said, my dream graduate school is NYU. I want to get my MA and maybe my Ph.D. in Political Science. I have yet to take the GRE, but I am registered to take it during July of this year. Is NYU out of the question for me? If so, what are some other schools that I should look into? What are some statistics of NYU admissions? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
