NYU in D.C.

Is this where all the money is going to?

With all due respect to kids in Abu Dahbi and other NYU locations, but is this really how the money should allocated?

I understand that NYU prides itself on “in the city and of the world”, but when I see that my friends who have been accepted still have to take out loans of 20k a year, and their family’s annual income is less than that… Well, sh**.

Not to mention that D.C. already has GWU as its flagship urban school. NYU would also have to compete with Georgetown and American U too.
Why use the millions to make a new building for studies in political science and international relations when they could just increase relations with the U.N., only 10 minutes away by train?

I think the money should be used for NYU kids, to grant more opportunities to them. In the future, when they all become rich-as-heck, then they’ll donate back.

What do you guys think?
