<p>I can’t find much information on the housing situation for the NYU LSP Paris Freshmen. I’ve already looked at their website, but all I’ve been able to find is a brief description of what the apartment will be like. Does anyone know any more information about the apartments or have pictures or floorplans? Also, they expect you not to ship any of you belongings ahead of time and just bring a suitcase? How is this possible?</p>
<p>Erin94 I’m equally confused as well, I’ve tried looking everywhere but there’s not really anything new… I’m almost tempted to find a place on my own since it’ll be easier. I read somewhere that we’ll be contacted individually with specific info about Paris housing and other things in May.
As for the luggage, we could just bring the “essentials” with us and have our family send it later once we get there and start living in our apartments (since we’re going to be staying at a separate location for the initial two-week workshop.)

<p>Actually, I was looking for an apartment on my own and I found some nice ones that would cost less than the NYU housing. Then, I emailed NYU and asked about housing, and they said that staying in their housing is mandatory. I’m kind of disappointed about this because I was looking forward to staying in an old Parisian building.</p>
<p>I’m wondering about this too… Are either of you going to the reception in Paris?</p>
<p>Also, it looks like there is no meal so we will be dining out/cooking ourselves…</p>
<p>There is no way that I am flying to Paris for a reception that lasts a few hours. I’m a pretty good cook, so I’m fine with cooking myself. I can’t wait for the delicious bread, pastries, and cheese!</p>

I may go there over a long weekend though to see the area but that’s only if prices are reasonable.</p>
