I choosing between LSP (London) and Emory. I don’t know much about Emory and Atlanta, lots of people are telling me it’s a very good school. WHICH IS BETTER??? How’s atlanta different from new york?

Also, what exactly are the requirements for LSP students to be admitted as juniors after two years?

NYU is a better location, Emory is a better school unless you’re doing Business, Philosophy, Film, Drama, Music, or maybe math (probably some others, sorry people)

hmm… how is ATL different from NYC? NYU definitely has a better location. ATL is kinda sketchy… more dangerous than NYC. NYC is way more fun than ATL since there are a LOT more things to do in NYC than in ATL. I’m from georgia and i came to new york because i did not want to live there. but emory IS a really good school! based on those businessweek ratings or whatever… emory is better than NYU.

Emory is ranked much higher than NYU according to US News.
NYU is more artsy.
Emory is more mainstream and preprofessional.
NYC is not to be confused with NYU. It may be a better city than ATL.
But Emory itself is not the the heart of ATL.
So go to the better school - that’s Emory.

I had the same problem. I had to choose between NYU LSP and Duke. Although I was really attracted to New York, I ended up picking Duke. Go with the school, not with the city. Plus, I’d say you would have a better chance of living in NYC later if you went to a better school than you would if you went to an okay school.

I know NYC has a lot of internships, but considering that they’re open to EVERYONE, not just NYU students, I wouldn’t say your chances increase that much.
