So i applied ED2 to NYU CAS Economics but got put into LSP, non binding. I have also got into UIUC LAS economics and can’t decide where to go. These are my pros and cons of each

Only one of your cons is really accurate. NYU is expensive as hell, yes. Yes, LSP is focused more on a “liberal” approach, but you do a lot of reading and writing and only your first year is really “art/music stuff”. It’s interesting material, but that’s just my perspective. NYU actually does have a campus. It’s different from your typical kind of campus, but it’s there. You’re not closed in behind gates, so you feel more connected with the city, but people literally say “I’ll meet you on campus” and they mean in WSP or on the Kimmel steps or anywhere around the square. It all really boils down to what you want out of a college, but don’t close yourself off to NYU because of misconceptions.
