i got into both schools and I want to know which school is better for art history. anyone know?

Do not go to Berkeley. It is a total drag and full of selfish people with limited social skills and over rated opinions of themselves.

haha where do u live evergreentea? UCLA is very well known…dunno about NYU…only place I heard of NYU is Cosby Show lol

Berkeley doesn’t sound like NYU or UCLA :p

Really? My cousin graduated from Berkeley as an Art History major and pursued her masters abroad in England. She has great social skills and has made the best out of her college experience. She is now happily engaged with a fellow UCB grad (bioengineering). Maybe the fact that she was born in San Francisco made her an exception to this stigma regarding UCB students’ “social skills”? Anyways wasn’t this about NYU or UCLA? Didn’t mean to hijack your thread OP.

The first two responses are some of the strangest I have seen on this board…Neither makes any sense.

not sure about art history specifically, but overall experience depends on your personality. I am at NYU and would much rather be at UCLA for campus, social life, more traditional college experience, but if you love New York then maybe NYU is better for you.

academics is probably the least important difference between those two schools. You’ll find a fine education at either.

much more important is social scene, academic and social atmosphere, location, etc.
