<p>i recieved a 25 K scholarship from NYU this is before finacial aid or anything and am wondering what acceptance into med school is from NYU as the undergraduate institution because i might be turning down some combined program like lehigh/drexel (because lehigh is very very expesnive)</p>
<p>can’t comment personally, but from reading a lot about nyu from studentsreview.com i remember reading a few people comment that they are a very big weed-out school for the sciences</p>
<p>my sister currently is a psychology at NYU (freshman) doing pre-med, and yeah according to her, they definitely try to eliminate the pre-med students.</p>
<p>Don’t know about their acceptance into NYU med school however, I believe she’s open to going to another school based on her MCAT’s and grades throughout undergrad.</p>
<p>i would say go to nyu if the scholarship is guaranteed for all four years or if there is just a certain academic standard you have to achieve…else they will screw you over and you’ll find yourself paying alot of money.</p>
