@firetofire I emailed to ask if it would be a problem if someone selects NO and didn’t apply ED to any schools, and they replied that the application wouldn’t be withdrawn or anything.
@julia115 I only applied RD. 
I’m curious if everyone has the summer option of Washington DC on the housing portal. If I go to the portal, I can select Washington DC and my application status lists me as NYU Summer Visitor. Summer Washington DC housing is supposed to be available to only matriculated students.

@nyuhope17 when you go on housing.nyu.edu, do you need to sign in anywhere? I’m just curious as my page doesnt load at all.
@Rav115 I have that problem from time to time. I can fix it by clearing cookies or opening another browser. I go to either. HTTPS://housing.nyu.edu/apply or https://housing.nyu.edu/network I only have the option of Washington DC on the apply link. I’m on my mobile phone though and everything is slightly different than on a computer
I have London and DC in the drop down menu
I have NYC, London, and DC but only for Summer 2017.
@nyuhope17 Oh thanks. I tried it on my mobile phone (used LTE not wifi) and it worked Right now I have the same as @figgie13 with NYC London and DC but its only for Summer 2017. Currently listed as a non-renewable undergraduate when I click “access application”.

I also got the NYU “check in application” email and my NYU account also has the summer housing option available. I’m not sure if either means anything on whether you will be accepted or not? Did any past NYU accepted students have these options as well?

past applicants have had the summer housing option but this is the first year that this email was sent out
I emailed admissions yesterday in regards to the “checking in your applicaion” email. I asked if it was the first time this type of email was sent and is there a specific reason to why it was sent and this was what they said: (I copied and pasted)
Yes, this is the first time we sent this email just making sure applicants withdraw from their ED school is they applied.
I also have NYC, Washington DC, and London for housing summer 2017 and I listed those as my other campuses of interest.
@bambie17 Wouldn’t that mean that the e-mail would have gone to matriculated students only? I mean why would they want non-accepted students to withdraw from their ED school??
Anyone have freshman instead of nonrenewable undergrad for their housing portal??
I have Summer for New York, DC, and London and I also have academic year 2017-2018 non-renewable undergraduate, I don’t know if that means anything.
@firetofire no they would send it to everybody that applied to keep things uniform. Getting that email means nothing other than that you are an applicant to NYU.
