I wouldn’t trust it unless you see a letter of acceptance.
Based on what I’ve read from this thread, I’m getting the indication that NYU will officially release decisions on Apr 1, but it’s likely that there will be signs/hints letting people know if theyve got rejected/accepted a few days before that. Am I correct?
Maybe it was an MLK scholarship? I’ve read there are only like 75 of those but maybe they were notified?

@elisefawkes I don’t think that’s new. I’ve had since I applied. It just says whether or not you’ve turned in your CSS profile. It doesn’t mean anything.
I went on https://housing.nyu.edu/apply and noticed a change today on my D’s page. Yesterday it only said Summer 2017. Now it says Summer 2017 and just below it in a separate box it says Academic Year 2017-2018 non-renewable undergraduate. I know some of you already have this change. I just thought some of you might like to check to see if you got the change too. Best wishes to everyone.

Mine is still only summer 
@MCMC519 My daughter’s housing portal also changed - the Academic Year section showed up. It wasn’t there yesterday. Trying not to get hopeful but it can’t be a bad sign
