anyone hear back about scholarships ?

Does anyone get interview request? I applied to computer science at CAS, and I got an interview invitation from admission officer today. I think it’s odd because they are going to release the decision in only two weeks.
DDs housing changed to summer and academic year…was just summer before!!!
@tiffanywang1999 the accepted students applications are at the financial aid office right now so maybe you’re being considered for a CAS merit scholarship? But yeah that seems weird and pretty late for any sort of interview.
Does anyone know when they will send out emails for scholarships?

@OldCheermomDC I don’t know about the reason for the interview request I just made an educated guess. If you’re asking how I know accepted students profiles are currently at the financial aid office it’s due to an nyu admissions blog post published last year where they discuss the admissions timeline. A few weeks prior to the decision release the admissions committee finalizes their decisions so there is time for financial aid packages to be put together. @getaclucy it was regarding the financial aid. That’s great news because we are in the FA office as well. But I’m still cautiously optimistic. Thanks.

@getaclucy my daughter has been receiving emails from FA asking for additional paperwork for the CSS profile.

I didn’t apply for housing, so should I expect to see a change?
Would my portal not change to academic year if i applied as a commuter? I have relatives in brooklyn so i chose not to dorm. I guess it would make sense if my portal doesnt change unless all accepted students get the change regardless…
@bambie17 It might not have changes regardless. It is highly doubtful that academic year is an indicator of admission.
