Has any Stern applicant in general got the housing change?
so does anyone know when the MLK scholars decision comes out?
@CityDreamGirl I was wondering the same thing. In the past it’s always either been 15th or 16th but I haven’t heard that anyone’s gotten it yet…
.Good luck to the MLK scholars!
Stern applicant here, no change either. I’m from the South.
@TripleDentGum hopefully we find out in the next few days!!!
@OldCheermomDC wouldn’t look too much into that, i was deferred from ED2 and someone who received those inquiries was rejected
The latest I’ve heard the MLK scholarship come out is the 20nth so hopefully it’ll come out very soon. Good luck guys
@zampani thanks, that’s why I haven’t said anything to my daughter about that link. I’m holding out hope.
Found out I got in right now! Full ride! so happy!
@DaniJonS how? for the mlk? where did you find this out at?
@DaniJonS Did you get the Mlk scholarship?
@CityDreamGirl @elisefawkes No I’m apparently a “Dean’s Scholar” got an email this morning.
"On behalf of the admissions committee, I am thrilled to share with you that you have been admitted to the College of Arts and Science at New York University. You will have access to your official offer of admission on March 30. I simply wanted to get this news to you now.
Let me add to this good news an invitation to join one of our most prestigious scholars programs at New York University, the Dean’s Scholars. You are among a very select group of students admitted to the College who have been identified for your truly outstanding academic and personal achievements.
Your Dean’s Scholarship Grant Award
As a Dean’s Scholar, we are offering you a scholarship grant award to cover the full cost of your tuition at NYU. Your Dean’s Scholarship is renewable for your four years of study at NYU, provided that you are in good academic standing, are meeting satisfactory academic progress standards, and enrolled full-time. You will be able to view your full financial aid award in your NYU Albert account on March 31st.
Presidential Honors Scholars Program
As a Dean’s Scholar, you will also become a member of the College’s Presidential Honors Scholars Program and be given top priority in the selection of classes offered through our Freshman Honors Seminar Program. These seminars are taught by eminent faculty from throughout the University and provide intimate settings for academic exploration. Participation in the Presidential Honors Scholars Program also includes a community service component and international travel excursions to sites abroad – funded by NYU."
