@eonion by a current student. I had panic attacks as I was being interviewed and might have stuttered a lot. I was sweating profusely. Not a great way to interview. :-S

But I guess the interview does not have that much of an impact on your application. Rather they want to know you better. Let’s hope for the best! Btw were your questions only related to what you wrote in your application, or also about you in general ?
@eonian A mixture of both I guess…you know, the infamous “Why NYU?” question and a few questions about my extra curricular activities…Although I think I screwed up, the interviewer was rather very cool and told me not to worry too much and said that he understands the nervousness surrounding the application process…

I found out on the 15th, 5pm est through email instead of the portal like other people who got in or rejected. I think I’ll hear back at the same time with all other rd applicants. Thank u and best of luck to u or your kid as well.

Hi guys i was accepted ED2 and had a groupme chat with 50 other applicants
i just wanted to give you guys a heads up about the housing change as I didnt believe it before. everyone in the chat who got the change 30 minutes- 2 hours before decisions came out to “freshman fall 2017” although im not sure if everyone who didnt got rejected but there definitely was an EXTREMELY strong corelation. If you get 2017 Fall undecided pretty early on it probably means you’ve been accepted through GLSP/LSP and ignore the “summer 2017” housing changes those are just glitches tbh. I dont want to scare or promote any anxiety but i felt really bad that everyone in the groupchat was convinced housing changes were fake (including myself) only to see that they were actually true. However its my opinion, to each is their own really.

Before I was deferred I had summer but only with the option of New York but now I have summer 2017 with NY, London, and D.C. Is this a glitch as well??
yxshen What do you mean when you say before? Did you apply last year and get deferred? My D has three summer programs listed on her profile too. I’d like to know if anyone else has had this on their page and what the final decision was for them.
Does everyone have the 2017-2018 academic year non-renewable undergraduate on their housing portal and if not what does that mean?
