<p>I also got the same email but then I provided with my first and last name and with my CSS ID and then I got an email from them saying that they’ve received my CSS profile</p>
<p>i got a confirmation email from AD but havent received one from SH</p>
<p>but im not even going for AD’s Candidate Weekend hehe</p>

I also got the same email from NYU AD but not from NYU SH but in the email it says the application has been received by all of the campuses</p>
<p>NYUAD has probably processed it, and Shanghai has not.</p>

<p>Wait, sorry, just a bit confused-I received an email saying that general NYU had received my application, but I got no specific email from NYUSH saying they had received my application. I’m assuming they did because I got an interview. I also did not get an email about the CSS profile.
Is that generally normal? Or should I have received more emails?</p>
<p>Yeah, that seems normal. I received an email from NYU - just NYU, not a specific campus - and that is all. However, if NYU has not received your CSS profile, I’d call and ask.</p>

<p>@lelisi If you didn’t get an email, you’re safe. If they were missing something they’d definitely contact you asking for it.</p>

<p>My interview was okay. My admissions officer asked me some casual questions like what I would do if I were in NYU SH, and what are some challenges I think I’ll face etc. She shot me one hard question, which was, “What is the biggest risk in your life you’ve taken?” and other questions were like, “How would your family members or friends describe you?” I think I handled some questions pretty well, but I don’t know. There are no guarantees. I just have my fingers crossed as of now! NYU Shanghai is my first choice, and I applied for ED1. </p>
<p>Warning about the weather:</p>
<p>I’ve lived in Shanghai for the past 8 years, and for those who live in cities with clean air, you guys may hate it. Sometimes, we get beautiful days but those may be rarer than you think. 90% of the expats and foreigners I know complain of the weather, and it’s only been getting worse recently. The day before, it was hard seeing 100 meters in front of you due to the pollution! In addition, in the summer here, you can cook pork on the sidewalk! Haha! Hope you guys will look forward to that…</p>
