NYU Spring Transfer 2015

Is that it for decisions today or could they still be sent at a later time?

I’m sure more must be sent out today… those decisions were sent out pretty early compared to other decision days.

@caw421 @PSC2IVY I dont know if it means for sure we will hear by Fri. But I do know it reads on Albert “We expect that all admission decisions will be sent via email on December 15th after 5pm…Admission decisions for Spring 2015 transfer students will be e-mailed beginning in early December” So I would really think the very latest we will hear is the 15th. I think you’re right about us being in a grey area, maybe they want to see if there is still space people choosing to go to other school and what not.

I submitted my app in mid-October.

Is anyone else here a mid-year freshman applicant? I know the process is a little more difficult. Waiting is driving me crazy, but congratulations to everyone who’s been accepted!

I am a mid-year freshman and am getting very nervous!

Will there be decisions released today?

Has anyone admitted gotten any financial aid information? The letter I got said I should get decisions within a week’s notice…today is Friday so…I reapplied and stayed I didn’t get enough financial aid to attend and went into more detail about that situation. I was an accepted applicant for this fall. Because I was admitted again, I wonder if they’re going to give me a better financial aid offer. My family’s financial situation is dire. If not, I can’t attend and I’ll give up my spot to someone else.

@josieboux‌ I’m a mid-year freshman. Why is the process more difficult…?

@caw421 “Transfer admission for students currently in their first full-time semester of college work is highly competitive” (from the website) plus mid-year freshman transfer opportunities are limited in general (few school options) because it’s tough to evaluate from one semester alone.

Still haven’t heard anything but what are my chances
GPA-3.86 San Jose state university
Sophomore standing-31 units completed (including 2 AP courses)
BS Health science major applying to Steinhardt
Tons of extra curriculars, Health science honor society member, 1 international internship
Enrolled in college Honors program that covers all my GE units

oh and applying for their Public Health program/Psychology concentration

NYU rejects many qualified applicants so chancing is kind of pointless. I’d say your chances are higher than average but you can never know for sure.

Just keeping it 1hunnet.

Did anyone’s financial aid change? As of today mine says “2015 award access not available.” I’m a first semester freshmen and haven’t heard back yet…

Do they release decisions on Mondays or only Tuesdays/Thursdays?

@PSC2IVY‌ have you heard a decision yet? I haven’t been on here in a while but I haven’t heard anything… It’s kind of a mute point now because I’ve already had to accept enrollment to pepperdine and register for classes… I’m extremely bummed that decisions are being sent out so late for some of us… Maybe if I am accepted I can try to switch my acceptance to a fall defer… Have you had to enroll at your other schools as well?

I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN!
