There is a gap between 11/16/18 and 11/30/18 because of Thanksgiving which was Thursday, 11/22/18. Based on the trend for spring 2018 and earlier forums, NYU likes to skip over Thanksgiving week.
So I THINK the next wave is Friday, December 6th, 2019.
I doubt anything for today, unless there have been updates but has not been posted by anyone outside this forum.
Enjoy your weekend y’all and Happy Thanksgiving in advance!
It really is weird. If there aren’t any decisions posted today in this forum, and if I’m right about NYU skipping over this Thanksgiving 2019 week like they usually do in the past, that would mean only ONE Friday in November of decisions with only TWO people getting a decision.
Exactly. Should have been a disappearance already.
In the unlikely event someone gets a decision, please, if you are going to post please don’t just type “Accepted” or “Rejected” then leave.
It will be very helpful for current and future applicants if you include some info like which school of NYU you applied to, what were your stats, when did you submit your application, etc.
Guys I just called the admission office, and they said no more decisions come out in November. The next wave is the first week of December. Enjoy the holiday and good luck everyone!!
I just called the admissions office. They said that the only decisions they are sending out today are for a very specific program (they didn’t name which one) and they will not be sending out decisions next week due to the holiday. The big wave will be Friday, December 6th.
The offer I received last Friday says that I have to confirm whether I’ll be attending NYU or not within two weeks, so next Friday is the enrollment deadline (11/29). I guess the office has to see how many spots will still be open and then give out more decisions. But technically there should be a plenty of spots remaining open now because not many people reported they had received decisions.
