Hi! I’m going to be attending NYU Steinhart’s vocal peformance auditions at the end of January and am very nervous about the sight reading portion of the audition. I feel pretty confident when I have solfège or scale degree markings on it, but without those it’s very difficult. Also, if it’s not in the key of c I get pretty lost as well. Does anyone have any idea what key it will be in and/or if we will be given scale degree or solfège markings on the music? This would really help me feel more prepared.
