Hello,

So my first year in college was a downer. I was a computer science major until the end of my second semester. I am now a finance major. I found that computer science was not for me, and I lost interest in coding. My grades suffered because of that. I am a 2.3 gpa right now planning to retake my Intro to Programming and Methodology I course so my gpa will rise. This semester (3rd), I’m on track for a 4.0. If I continue getting a 4.0 gpa for maybe 2-3 semesters and explain to NYU why my first year in college was horrific, do you think I would have a chance? I’m planning to get one or two internships by then. I have also volunteered my time. Thanks.
