<p>Chance me for NYU Stern Please ED I
GPA UW:3.631, On a Downward Spiral But I can explain that, My grandpa died in my Junior year and Sophomore year I was really struggling with my Stuttering and I had to focus on that and work on it thus laying my studies to the side for a short while My School does it like this

held a walk for cancer that raised $5000, I did this because my grandpa died of cancer and i wanted to raise awareness
Started and President of a club about Public Speaking and Leadership,once again because of my stuttering
Edited and Co Authored a book on spiritual peace, because I believe that stuttering is all mental

Greater Newark Youth Orchestra
Orchestra in my School for 7 Years
Played my violin for the mayor and got a certificate for it
Led a campaign against drugs, the mayor recognized me for it
BRIDGES: A club in helping students with issues, I chose this because it would help me when I speak
HAWKS: Helping people get oriented to High School, once again more communication opportunities
Mentoring: I mentored a freshman
Latin honor Society
History Honors Society
Interned with the CEO at a 8 Million Dollar Company and worked as a financial analyst
Interned with the CEO of a 400 million dollar Wall Street Hedge Fund, I have proof of that and he wrote me an excellent letter of rec, hes stern alum I think.
My essays will be stellar, I will speak about my stuttering and helping others and the compassionate approach that grew out of it. And coping with my stuttering while working in a relatively high profile internship.
And I did a Microeconomics course at UPenn and got an A in that and a wonderful teacher rec. </p>

<p>What you guys think? I checked Naviance for my school and people with lower sat scores and gpa than me have gotten into NYU, im not sure about Stern tho. u think I can make it? Thanks!</p>

<p>Based on your test scores, and all your ECs, it seems like you have a pretty good shot of getting in. The only downside if your GPA, which you should try to bring up.</p>
