NYU Stern Undergrad

How difficult is it to get into NYU Stern as an undergraduate. Is the acceptance rate as low as Harvard and Stanford? What is the acceptance rate to get into NYU Stern as an undergraduate in RD? How bout in ED?

hahahahahah… harvard or stanford lol… noo…
15-20%

Right now it 19 percent…Ehhh not the hardest but theres the one thing that stern more superior than even some of the superior counterparts. Networking is the greatest trait of NYU stern because smaller boutiques frequently go there. On top of that it right in the city…at the home of wall street. On top of the original alpha kappa psi buisness fraternity

Overall acceptance rate for ED & RD is 17%. I would speculate that ED rate is probably higher around 20% and RD is probably around 13/14%. So on a pure numbers basis not as hard to get into as Stanford & Harvard as they are around the 6-8%. However the acceptance rate of a school like NYU Stern or any other specialized program for that matter is difficult to compare to the acceptance rate of an overall university just because there is a lot of self-selection. What I mean is any random person will submit an application to Harvard/Stanford but only people who know they want to be in finance/business and are competitive for that field will usually submit an application at NYU Stern.

^It was the founder of both business frats - AKPsi and DSP. The poster above is also pretty much spot in terms of his description of NYU Stern. NYU and Stern in particular will send a ton more students to Wall Street than a lot of the schools that people perceive to superior. The job placement coming out of this school if you take advantage of the school’s location and its resources is almost unrivaled save for Wharton & Harvard.
