I am looking to apply to NYU soon and I’ve noticed something peculiar about their transfer admission semesters. Like most institutions, they offer transfer admission in the fall and spring semesters. However, they also offer admissions in the Summer semester. My question is, if I apply as a transfer student to the Summer semester, will that better or hurt my chances of getting accepted?

I think summer = fall. you can choose to take summer classes if you want if you get in. actually anyone can take summer classes (right?)

yep, anyone can attend nyu summer. i think the admissions are similar to extension classes at other universities.

i would def. contact admissions and verify if summer admits actually transfer as a matriculating nyu student.
