I just wrote the supplement for the first NYU prompt about what my academic interests are:

My main academic interest lies in business. While I would still like to explore the different parts of business before making a final decision on a specific program, I do know that I want to study Global Business and take it as a co-major. I speak Mandarin Chinese at home, and I am currently learning how to read and write proficiently in Chinese. My experience with both the American and Taiwanese cultures has sparked my interest in the internationally integrated aspect of business. Despite being fluent in speaking Mandarin, my true passion lies in Europe. Even though I have never visited, it is my dream to study in one of the European countries, France in particular, and become fully immersed in its culture. I am aware that it would be impractical to try to focus on two different countries at one time, which is why I would be happy going with either the European route or the Chinese one. NYU’s amazing connections in both Europe and Asia makes it the ideal university to pursue my interests.
Apart from business, I am also passionate about music. Having played the piano for twelve years, I love both classical and jazz, as well as composing original pieces. I plan on minoring in music and I would love to become a part of one of NYU’s ensembles – besides band, I perform as part of a piano-only ensemble team outside of school, and playing with a group of musicians with the same passion gives me a phenomenal feeling that cannot be achieved by playing alone.

What do you guys think? What should I change? I know that I kind of end on a random note, but the character limit is 1500 and I’m at 1472. Also keep in mind that this is my first draft, haha.
