NYU Tandon vs. Rutgers-NB HELP

I can’t decide which school I would like to go to. Some background info, I would like to major in some kind of biological science, and at Tandon I would study biomolecular science. At Rutgers I could go to the school of pharmacy or SAS. I think I’d like to try to take a premed route at whatever school I go to and see if I enjoy it.

Some things I’ve heard about both schools (if I’m wrong please correct me):

Both
-Intern / Volunteer / Research opportunities and resources are pretty similar
-Cost is similar after scholarships (~25,000)

Tandon
-More motivated students overall
-I don’t know if I like the city but I’m willing to try
-No campus
-Connections will be better somehow bc of the city
-More distance from parents, more independence (I only live like an hour away from Rutgers)
-NYC could broaden my life experiences
-I’ve heard some not great things about Tandon (reputation, isolation, social life)

Rutgers
-Biology program is better?
-Actual campus
-I know some people / might have an easier time making friends
-I’m more familiar w/ suburban settings

I know my academic experience at either school will mostly be what I make of it, but does anyone have any insight for me about any differences between the two? Anyways, I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what they think I should do / other things to consider / things already mentioned to consider more heavily as I make my decision.
