<p>You need to schedule your audition date – aka, your artistic review. And, apply to NYU with your common app.</p>

<p>On that page, click the black rectangle for your major…Acting or Music Theatre or Directing or Production and Design. Once you do, it outlines what is required for an audition for that major or a portfolio for that major (depending on which major). </p>
<p>It outlines all the requirements of the ARTISTIC review. </p>
<p>AlwaysAMom also gave you the link to Admissions, which explains the application part of the process that is separate from the Artistic Review (audition/portfolio). Basically, this entails the Common App and the NYU Supplement (all available on the Common App site).</p>

<p>Also, you mention an audition tape and I cannot emphasize enough that your odds are much slimmer to audition via tape than by a live audition. NYU auditions both in NYC and in other cities.</p>

<p>sorry my bad! I forgot to mention im international so I can’t go to the campus to have an interview or audition. i once read somewhere that there is tape audition. is it true?</p>
<p>Yes, it is true…PLEASE take the time to examine the links that we are all providing you. See my link in post #6? It explains how to go about a taped audition and how to do the interview via Skype. It’s all there.</p>
