NYU vs. Marymount

I’m very interested in NYU and for a long while now I’ve actually been considering applying ED, but literally just minutes ago after reading some threads on CC, I’m thinking I might just do regular. Another thing I have been thinking of is Marymount. I am really aiming to go for a field in Fashion Journalism (writing for a fashion magazine/publication). I know NYU has a couple fashion clubs and a Study Abroad program in Florence with fashion classes. I just discovered Marymount a little while ago and it has been piquing my interest as well–does the uni offer these same privileges? Which college can I attain my goal better in? (More focused)

Another thing I’m really big about is, and don’t judge me for it, parties. I know, I know, everyone’s like “You won’t have time for that” etc. etc., but honestly, I want to go to NYC. I should be able to have fun there. Does Marymount offer a good party scene or is it all stuffed up, being in the Upper East Side and everything. I know NYU has a few party dorms.

Thanks for the help!

Oh, I just realized there’s another school called Marymount! I meant Marymount Manhattan. :]

You should check out Gallatin at NYU. I know multiple kids going there/there already with concentrations in Fashion and Journalism

Anyways, if you’re still between 2 schools come fall, do NOT do early decision! I learned this the hard way and ended up pulling an application last minute.

fashion?

why not look at FIT, Marist (if you don’t mind that Bill O’Reilly went there), Parsons, etc.?
