<p>I am planning to be a communications major and was accepted at SFSU for communications but waitlisted at NYU Steinhardt. As of right now I need to make a decision between the two and yes I know I am not officially accepted to NYU just yet but I would like to see it as an option. However, paying for tuition at NYU might be very difficult since I had two siblings already attending UCSD. So my parents would be paying almost 100k for schooling if all of our tuition is combined. I was wondering which school is better, is tuition worth it for NYU, and also if anyone can tell me what are my chances of getting off the waitlist and officially accepted into NYU?</p>
<p>Go where it will cost you the least. You will need to put in a deposit at SFSU regardless because you will not know if you are admitted at NYU until after May 1. I would not count on getting off the waitlist at any school. If it happens, it happens but don’t plan your life around it.</p>
