So you guys i made a typo in my personal essay and I don’t want to say that that is why I got waitlisted but do you think the admissions office put that into consideration? Also, do you think the reason everyone admitted off steindhart is because there isn’t space for any fall admits?
ivygirl221 - they look at tens of thousands of essays - maybe it was small enough they did catch it.

@ivygirl221 - yes, I think it’s reasonable to assume that Steinhardt won’t be admitting anyone off the WL for Fall. But stuff happens - they could still get a student who changes their mind late and opens up a Fall spot.
@ivygirl221 I think so! I just got off the phone with NYU undergrad admissions. I was told, offers that have gone out thus far, across all schools, have been Spring admits… though, I spoke with a student ambassador. She recommends speaking with an admissions counselor, but there were none available at the time that I called.
Not across all schools. Stern had fall admits.

I’m only sharing the answer from the student ambassador. I didn’t call about Stern or Steinhardt, I’m waiting for CAS (Fall)…the answer I got from her was that she’s only seen Spring Admits so far!
@PHS2019 not sure about the quality of that info, because we have seen admits across all schools afaik but not all schools have spring admits, so by definition there have been fall admits too.
I just spoke to someone from the admissions office and she said most of the waitlist results come out in June and they will be finalized by the end of June
Again, I’m passing on the information that was given to me by a 'student ambassador’and what she’s seen! She did suggest to further discuss with an admissions adviser (I’d imagine - she’s not seen every offer that’s gone out?) I’m sure she was trying to be helpful…
