hi! i’ve been lurking on here. i’m an international student applying for cas (i also applied for consideration for the ls core, gallatin, and the shanghai campus) under politics. i initially applied rd using CSS but I’ve since rescinded my request for aid. have there been any indicators that note a wave today?
Hi! I also requested financial aid through CSS but did not complete it for my both parents (it was for divorced parents) and so I think it is not valid, but still I wanted to ask how you rescinded your request for aid. that’s what I want to do even though I said I will accept my place without hesitation if I get admitted. I just wanna be clear

I’d like to know as well. We did Fafsa, but not CSS and mentioned in the waitlist form that FA is not a consideration for us, but if we can rescind the FAFSA, I wonder if that would help.

at least you mentioned it is not a consideration in the waitlist form so I think it would be fine, but I feel u like I’m nervous that maybe they won’t understand what I mean. I feel like it would help to rescind aid as well. I did not see any option to cancel my request tho so logically maybe mine CSS is not valid since I did not complete everything they wanted me to but I am not sure and it stresses me out 
helloo, i was able to rescind it by calling the financial aid office personally. i tried emailing them about this several times over the span of three weeks but no response. i eventually called them at 9 am NYC time a few days ago. it took half an hour to an hour for them to confirm my rescindment. i also confirmed this in an updated version of my waitlist form! @neznaena in case you wanted to know too :’

if I go to the bursar page it gives me an option to make a deposit for summer or fall housing. Is that an indicator or does everyone have that option. I don’t have the checklist or other housing indicators
