I really hope that is true
Expert prediction this year was there will be a lot of waitlist activity due to FAFSA mess, protests, etc. So let’s see… Colleges need to fill their class as quickly as possible, and it boils down to gaps and who is most likely to accept… so am hoping all the major action will happen within a week after May 15th… but who knows.
I pray this is true…I also have to put down a deposit by the 15th
Not even an update email SMH
do u think the wave will be this week like friday cuz thats after 15th or next week or even later generally? pple r saying friday but pple have also said a lot of things so idk
same q for u–do u think the wave will be this week like friday cuz thats after 15th or next week or even later generally? pple r saying friday but pple have also said a lot of things so idk
Impossible to predict… However, they knew the gaps on May 2nd since their deposits were due May 1st… So it’s not unreasonable to imagine that they shortlist their candidate pools between 2nd and 15th and release decisions on a rolling basis starting 16th or 17th.
hmm fair enough; hopefully soon! a lot colleges moved their commit deadlines to may 15 – is that unique to this year w fafsa delays and all or is it more common than not? if it is more common, it may be concerning if nyu released FA decisions sooner earlier other years (makes me think there arent a lot of spots for WL). does anyone have an insights on this point? tysm!
hi guys, just wanted to ask that what does yours say under the financial aid links? Do you guys see the cost of attendance? Or is it not accessible?
Hi just wanna ask if anyone got their waitlist decision for CAS full pay
for me it just says: You are not active in a program at NYU in 2024-2025. Because of that, you may not access this page. Please contact your advisor for further assistance.
i think there will be a good amount of waitlist movement this year because nyu’s application numbers went down but their acceptance rate stayed the same. as of now only full pay applicants have recieved offers in small waves, maybe may 15th is the equivalent of may 1st for our batch because of the fafsa delays. last year the biggest wave came out on may 4th/5th, for fa as well as full pay applicants.
But even full-pay applicants had really tiny waves of just like 1-2 people, schools like Steinhardt just took one person of the waitlist
yeah exactly, they do have spaces but they can only afford to take off full pay applicants before may 15th i suppose
but even full pay people arent getting off
agreed but atleast some of them got offers, they’re not sure how many spaces they’ll have before may 15th so they’re taking off the smallest number of applicants as possible to prepare for when they have to send out the big waves. thats just what i’m guessing because no fa applicant has gotten off yet
Is fa links an indicators
where do you check that
albert
and then where
