Well they clearly stated not to submit any extra letters of reccomendation. Also are you talking about the waitlist form LOCI or did you email them one.
Keep in mind the waitlist isn’t ranked, so we don’t have direct evidence of anything regarding admits nor their time of application. It’s a waiting game sadly…

Has anyone emailed the AOs a loci? I’ve received so many mixed responses on reddit but the AI chatbot said not to and they didnt accept my loci during deferral round either.

I think NYU just wants the WL form. There are so many ppl on the waitlist, that they arent fond of getting more information or recs directly emailed as it is would be too much into coming in…so no I dont think it would help to email, and might annoy them.

i know, but in NYU waitlist 2027 the people who got their decisions first were mostly admitted as spring admits

Probably because they have a lot of open spots for spring admits and they still might be collecting responses from everyone who decided to not go.

I think @92835740987235 that WL most likely starts tomorrow or Tues. If you do get an offer PLEASE provide the following info:
1)what school you were originally WL for and was it ED1, EDII, or RD.
2)what school you got accepted, what term (ie spring/fall), and what campus (NY/DC/IT etc)
3) did you get good FA, or no FA
4)US student or international
If you are just reading this thread…please provide your WL school to be added to the list.

Probably not, but a lot of ppl did get off waitlists during these dates

I think it’s “too early” for them to start for today. I’m rooting for tomorrow for the first wave of updates they send out. May 3rd or May 5-6th is the earliest we could root for.
do i have a greater chance of getting off the waitlist if i applied to multiple colleges?
my first choice was CAS but i added meyers nursing college, gallatin, and liberal studies on the waitlist form. If i get spring admission, i have to dorm at NYU in the summer?
A lot people have mixed responses for this because more colleges = more options to consider you for, but some people say it can make u look inconsistent. If you chose multiple colleges, then definitely give an explanation on how each of those choices align with ur career goals.
