guys i would say to not look too deeply into the indicators. i did the same thing during the RD round and then again in the beginning of May when i was waitlisted. it was only when i stopped checking and just had faith things would work out was when I got an email about a status update and got in (May 15). don’t get too stressed bc you’ll always end up where ur meant to be

an hour ago i was like wow may is almost over and i need aid i’m not getting in but i realized i’ve been checking this and my portal so much i had to look bigger pic. i looked at my google calendar and realized there’s still like literally half the month left which is lit everything we’ve waiting for so far times 2 should not be so stressed fingers crossed for us all plss aid acceptances start rolling innn do we think mon? when

even though nyu said the deadline is august 1st, there’s no chance after may? i honestly hope so because i just want a clear answer even if it’s a no so i can move on.
It’s not that there is no chance. It’s that I’ve set a deadline to stop focusing on the possibility. After May 31, my assumption is that it’s not happening. If it does, great.

Please don’t loose hope , my son’s roommate last year was on waitlist and got in June for spring enrollement but didn’t take it as he was already committed at USC for fall and he is OOS
Also I heard from one of my friend her son’s friend got in waitlisted last year in June and he accepted it by declining at other committed school. I don’t have their stats to post here.
We are also just keeping hope for my daughter, she committed at one of the school for now.
