The checklist disappears 1-2 days b4 ur decision. So you might have a chance during the next wave.
it disappears at different times. sometimes the morning or afternoon before you get accepted, or it might disappear the day before you get accepted. sometimes it doesn’t go away at all and ur letter is just randomly there when u log in. but for the most part it disappears, just at random times tbh.
that 1:30 am for me, I haven’t slept an hour in 2 days, dk if I’ll be surviving till that time

When i got deferred it changed my application to RD, but after getting waitlisted, its back to ED2. I hope this is a good thing since someone said that they rank WLs on ED (idk if this is true or not)
when the checklist doesn’t disappear but the update has been posted, it will surely say that an important update has been posted right?
idt that is true, at least as per the official claims and even expert reports, WLs aren’t ranked

I don’t think they send an email when it updates, but on portal it will say it has been updated

Mine looks the exact same! I was ed2 (and did a stern summer program) but now it has regular decision instead of ed2
Said yes to UT Austin but will most likely change it if I get into NYU. Also waitlisted at UMich
