This is a pretty good theory imo because NYU is literally infamous for astrology so maybe they’ve finally fixed it? I remember the chaos that was ED… people were calling the admissions office over indicators lmao
even the checklist? what do u guys think?
Again, this is not a proven science based off CC. There are so many people out there who don’t stalk on these forums like us so there can be a million different situations.

I mean sure but another way people knew was that an update application button, not the personal information one, disappears (which is already gone for us because we received our decisions). I keep trying to think about when I got my decision and I can’t recall the list disappearing but I might have just forgotten since it’s been so long. I know some other people’s list disappeared but I can’t recall mine disappearing but again all speculation.

I think mine disappeared like two days before but it’s been gone since.
Waitlist decisions seem to be different “indicators” compared to regular rounds

Yeah, again it’s all kind of complicated and I know we’re all ED kids so we’re used to having pretty good indicators but I remember after I got waitlisted in december (smh) I did a ton of chronically online research and I really found that no one had any “true indicators” for waitlist. They definitely happen, but maybe combined with the fact that the waitlist indicators are messed up AND NYU is infamous for indicators maybe finally NYU is putting that all to rest? I’m not sure but again, no matter what, this is a hella annoying waiting game

Oh no for sure not a fun one, but one that is required. Sadly we’re just numbers to NYU so they’ll use us when they want. That’s why I’m only waiting so long and then moving on. I gotta start getting excited eventually, can’t wait for NYU forever
