is it really crazy unthinkable to get off the waitlist? I hear so many different things- some ppl say everyone they know got in off the waitlist and them I see some say nobody gets in

On my waitlist form it says regular decision 2024 when I did ED2. Does that mean anything?

Im cas and mine said “Welcome to NYU! Our records indicate you are being admitted to the Spring 2025 term. Please check back here in mid-October to complete the housing application. If you have already paid your housing reservation payment with your admissions deposit, it will be applied to the Spring 2025 term and will be noted in your application.” in the housing portal. is this an indication
random question though - did anyone’s portal look like the screenshot sent by feynstein before the actual RD decision round came out? no one else’s portal looks like that atm
