well, I guess the waitlist over for this year. for the sake of documentation, I got this email on july 31st at 11:39am:
I think some people got a different email (if anyone can elaborate on this, feel free lol) for a conditional transfer offer for next year. I don’t know if they did that in previous years – I’m pretty sure I never heard about it – but, to my understanding, I think it’s an automatic acceptance as a transfer student for next year (provided certain requirements are met, like GPA and some other things I honestly don’t understand lol). I didn’t know that was a potential outcome, but it seems pretty cool (but again, please correct me if this isn’t entirely accurate lol).
now that all that’s out of the way, I wanted to wish you all good luck no matter where you ended up. I hope you’re excited about the schools you committed to, or whatever else your futures may hold. this has been a heck of an experience, and I’m glad to have experienced it alongside you all
