Guys there’s now a student tab on my Albert portal (which wasn’t there before). Does that possibly mean anything?
@NYUDream22 I’ve had that for a week now, I can’t tell what it means.
Did those that have the “student tab” receive an interest email? I got the email but do not see any student tab

Well, I’m really sceptical as to whether there’s a second wave after all… 
Do any of you guys have any update on whether there will be a second wave?
@loudlg I just DM the admission twitter, will let you know once they reply.
@loudlg i just called them & they said they don’t really have exact dates as to when the second wave will occur. The guy mentioned that “the office is kind of in a limbo” & that there is no certainty as to when more decisions will be released. I also asked him if they have any info on whether there are actually anymore spots open in Steinhardt, but they actually don’t have the info (not that they can’t disclose anything, but they actually just don’t have the information).
He also said that International students shouldn’t worry about not getting their visa’s processed on time or anything, because he said that NYU will definitely make sure that accepted students will get to campus on time.

@nidamana I just don’t think the time frame really matters that much any more.
My guess is that they need to sort through the responses from the 72 hour window they gave to all in the 1st wave. Probably takes more than one day.

Sigh, well I’m an international student and I’ve been really hoping and waiting for NYU to get back to me because I wasn’t hundred percent sure I wanted to attend BU yet. I even requested an extension for the deadline for the acceptance of my admission to BU which they gave me (till July 1st rather generously)…honestly, I’ve lost all hope in NYU and so have my parents. I havent even gotten any of those ‘interest’ letters most people on this thread seem to be talking about…I guess I’ll just commit to BU now and move on with my life

Andway, BU is also a great school, and you can always transfer if you really want to.
