Hey everyone! I’ve been searching the web lately for advice on writing my NYU supplemental essays, and I kept coming up with discussion threads from this site. I’m really nervous about applying to NYU CAS since I don’t have a very exceptional academic history and I never participated much in extracurricular activities. My current GPA is a 3.6, and I’ve only taken two honors classes and an AP Government class. I am going to take the SAT I & II in December. I’ve always been on my school’s honor roll and have received plenty of academic achievement awards, but the only activities that I’ve done that could be considered extracurricular are choir concerts. Last year I was a “year program” foreign exchange student to Italy, and while I was there, I served as an interpreter for a group of Italian students during their school trip to England. Other than that, I feel that I don’t have much to offer, and, as I’ve said, I’m extremely nervous! Does anyone think that I have a chance?
