Obama at Brookings

I just thought saw this on the Hotchkiss website and thought that it was interesting, I think you’ll like it:

[The Hotchkiss School](http://www.hotchkiss.org/home/index.asp)
[An Address on Jobs and the Economy by President Barack Obama - Brookings Institution](http://www.brookings.edu/events/2009/1208_jobs_obama.aspx)

"But the storms of the past are receding. The skies are brightening. And the horizon is beckoning once more. "

ROFL!!! I wonder who wrote this drivel for him.

Probably the children of the guys that wrote Ronald Reagan’s “shining city on a hill” and GHW Bush’s “thousand points of light” speeches. Politicians have always used silly imagery to sell political positions.

I think the appropriate answer, Padre, is “your mom.”
