Did anyone else apply to Occidental here? I guess not… I’m expecting decisions on March 19th around 5 PM Pacific Time based on past precedent so this Wednesday I guess…

Daughter got in with $15k, and she is very interested. But, I don’t think it is worth the cost. She could go to Whitman for $20k less per year. We have a visit to Whitman planned, so hopefully she really like it.

My son considered both schools, but in the end he ended up not applying to Whitman because he was looking for something a little more urban and didn’t love the small town vibe of Whitman. At the end of the day, he’s happy at Oxy, but I loved Whitman and I can see how you’d lean that way if it’s $20K cheaper

Walla Walla is a nice town, especially in spring. Take some time there if you can!
