Just chiming in here - I know we won’t hear back until March

Daughter applied

3.79 unweighted GPA, 4.59 weighted, TO

Biology major (Marine Biology possible)

800+ hours in Research, multiple research poster awards

300+ hours volunteering

Require need based aid

Looking like my daughter is the only one here --haha! I know that’s not true for reality. She did just get an email saying her application is under review.

My daughter applied also. We just got a postcard in the mail yesterday saying that decisions would be released in “early March” and informing us of the Admitted Students days. Did anyone else get the same postcard?

I’m really hoping that receiving the postcard is a good sign. I don’t want to read too much into it– they probably send these to everyone. But we were very happy to receive it.

Informed Delivery says one is in the mail for us, but a snow plow knocked down our mailbox four weeks ago, so who knows when we’ll actually get it! I’m guessing they sent them to all applicants.

Early March would indeed be nice; last year they released on 3/19.

Fingers crossed for early March!! This is one my daughter really likes on paper – has anyone visited?

We visited. Gorgeous campus. SLAC in an actual major city which is cool and has benefits. They said something about some kids living on campus while doing summer internships. Can’t remember if that was a specific program though. Students seemed generally happy. I think it would be a great place to go to school.

Postcard is also coming today! I’m sure they went out to everyone -but it has the admitted student days on it!

We visited. Beautiful campus. Everyone was very friendly. My daughter really liked it there.

Daughter says that she got an email that says RD will come tomorrow afternoon/evening (I can’t remember if it was 4pm or 7pm - I’m sorry!)
