These have really started growing on me. They are incredibly sophisticated, and pretty funny. I wish our corporate marketing people could build such a strong image with our customers. I don’t know who does their marketing and advertising, but they are really talented.

The little video on their Website is a great sample of what their Teevee ads are like: www.oceanspray.com.

Shhh, don’t tell- a lot of those berries are grown a thousand miles from the ocean. Can’t remember if MA or WI grows the most. They are fun ads.

I was just thinking the same thing: “This is Frank Bartles and Ed Jaymes. Thank you for your support.”

Here in Mass, growers of the second most cranberries in the US of A, most of the bogs are near Cape Cod and within a 1/2 hour or so of the ocean. So Ocean Spray is a fairly accurate name.

The cranberries in Wis are grown in the central part of the state, in the middle of nowhere (except the “up North” woods). I think Ocean Spray has bought out/contracted with some local growers, although the “Northland” brand owns a lot, also (I should see if a friend who lives in that area knows any of the trivia).
