Actually it looks like they discussed it earlier in the forum.

They said that the rationale was that there is an extremely negative connonation with “free rider”
and the fact this “is obvious” because the meaning is like a “leech”

A lot of people agree with a lot of things, doesn’t make it right.

You’re not making any sense, as it stands you don’t seem to understand how the less than or equals to sign works.
1,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100 median=95.5. This is empirical evidence that E is true. In order for E to be false, you must find a median with a value greater than 96. Please provide some concrete evidence as to why E is worng rather than continuing to misunderstand a simple math definition.

Just say something like I feel that one of the answer options for the math questions was not clear because part of the answer is wrong. they might not see it but like sometimes they apparently realize it themselves. <a href=“Student Proves That S.A.T. Can Be: (D) Wrong - The New York Times”>http://www.nytimes.com/1997/02/07/us/student-proves-that-sat-can-be-d-wrong.html</a></p>

@Jackytang23‌ Its very rare an faulty question would be on the SAT. ETS goes through the test many times (they say at least :p). But it doesn’t hurt contacting them.

Test Error or Ambiguity

If you encounter a test error or ambiguous question, continue testing. Report the problem to the supervisor before you leave the test center, then write to us, including the test section, the test question (as well as you can remember it), and an explanation of your concern. The SAT Program will respond to written inquiries.

honestly whatever, i hate the SAT

@FriedButters‌
i dont remember this one. Was it the median one? wasn’t it that it could be an integer?
Thus 95.5?

You could maybe contact the ETS (they make the SAT).

looks like another person spotted a phrase that supported the obvious answer.

yes, 10 integers between 1, 100 - inclusive - what must be true of the median. I went through each answer choice in a previous post.

GUYS the last one on the 20 min 16 question math was 2 right. for the like x2(3x-1)=ax+bx2+cx3+dx4
i plugged in 1 and then everything just canceled out.

@friedbutters yes i understand your argument, but the part that it can EQUAL 96 is DEFINITELY NOT TRUE!!!

@‌ sodone
you have it backwards, it asked which one must be true. also your example is odd, to say the least.

@lifeishard What was the question asking for? If you expand the equation you’ll get 3x^3 - x^2 = ax+bx^2+cx^3+dx^4 If I remember correctly, it was like what would the sum of a,b,c, and d be, in which case, you’re right.

@‌jackytang23

Dude if u really care contact them in the May2011 they threw out the first grid in because of wording technacltes.

@lifeishard yes it was, I distributed and just added -1 to 3 for coefficients

@Jackytang23‌
No you don’t, it does not have to equal 96. you don’t seem to understand that.

sorry to bother you guys but how is the >=6 wrong? i hate this question

idk what this median thing was about tho? i remember that it said the median could not be an integer or something.
